The Hardest Part…
… is the wait!
We pride ourselves on the fact that our brides tell us how much they enjoy the process of having their gown made at As You Like It. It’s personal, fun, and relaxing! But we know from experience that the hardest part is the wait between when you order you gown, and when you get to see it. (In fact, this is true whether you purchase your gown from a store or have it custom-made.) Many months can pass in that time, and it’s easy to start worrying… Did I make the right choice? How will my gown turn out? Will it look how I remember?
This is very normal! Planning a wedding is a joyous time, but it can be stressful too.
We’re here to help:
- When you come in and choose your gown, you can take as many pictures as you like. We’ll take lots of pictures too, and send them to you so you can look at your gown any time.
- If you’ve chosen a completely custom design, rather than one that’s in our studio, you’ll get a professional sketch of your gown that’s yours to keep.
- We’ll give you fabric swatches, beading samples, and anything else you need to coordinate flowers, buy accessories, or just to look at when you’re dreaming about your day.
- You can call or email us any time you like. If you have questions, concerns, new ideas, or just want to chat, we’re delighted to hear from you! We’ll also drop you a line from time to time just to see how you’re doing, and if you need any help or advice.
- You can come and see us! We’re happy to have a visit from you any time, and we’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas, answer questions, and calm any jitters you’re feeling – about anything!
The hardest part is the wait. But be assured: It’s well worth it!
